From Heather: Our family had been looking to adopt for a while and we were feeling a bit demoralised as most of our attempts with other dogs and organisations fell through.
It felt like a godsend when a friend of mine Dm'd me Purelywoof's post about 7 puppies being found and fostered and looking for people to adopt. They were only 3 months, and honestly, we'd never dealt with such a young pup before but we decided to give it a shot.
We reached out pretty soon after, asking if we could visit a few dogs before setting our hearts on Abigail (now Pike), and the introduction process was very well managed and streamlined.
She's a wonderfully smart and stubborn dog with much love in her heart for the people and things around her, and we can't wait to see how she grows and develops as she ages.
I think what I've appreciated the most through this process is how supportive everyone at Purelywoof and Purely Adoptions is towards the adopters and fosterers and how there's always an open line of communication between us. It brings a lot of confidence and care to the situation.
We're very excited to see Pike grow up, and we hope that she'll be just as happy with us as we are with her. 🐾🐾💖
