Mummy Sophie & Puppies

20 OCTOBER 2020

This morning, we were alerted that there are also 5 mongrel puppies to be rescued. They are at the same construction site that Clever boy is, where all dogs have to be cleared.

As we are full now and expenses running high, we are unable to take in the puppies unless we have a fosterer.

This is urgent appeal as a dog trapper is stationed at the construction site to catch all the dogs.

We are looking for 1 fosterer to take in all 5 puppies at the moment as they are very young. Please note that puppies are cute but they need high level of attention and care at such tender age -think feeding every 2-3 hours through the day, etc.

We just took in the puppies from the construction site. They are now safe. In total, there are 8 puppies + 1 with injured leg. We will keep everyone posted on their progress. Thank you to those who came forward to help.

21 OCTOBER 2020

Yesterday we could not take a clear picture of Trippy, the injured puppy that we rescued together with his siblings from the construction site. We brought him to the Vet today and will monitor his wound. So sad to see another puppy that will be 3 legged. We will keep everyone posted on his progress. Get well soon Trippy.

We have bailed Mummy dog from AVS today and put her together with her puppies. Mummy and puppies were from the construction site that was designated for redevelopment and dog catcher has been instructed to clear all the dogs there. Time is running out. We are doing our best to save the dogs there and priority will be the puppies and injured dogs. If you like to help to foster the rescued dogs, pls contact @purelyfoster 87523980. Thank you. Pls share the post.

22 OCTOBER 2020

Step by step, mummy dog is learning to trust human and let us touch her puppies. She is a beautiful girl and we hope we can find a home for her. Its comforting to see the puppies finally reunited with their mummy. Their eyes are not open yet but we can see the puppies are more settled and confident than the first day they arrived at fosterer's place. Mummy is happy too and we think she knows we are here to help her....

20 DECEMBER 2020

We have another good news to share with everyone. Timbre has been adopted 😀 Thank you Roy!

“After the painful loss of our dog in 2019, my family recently decided we were ready to welcome a new furry member.

It was love at first sight for everyone, and the decision to adopt was easy and instant. Our parents fuss over Timbre day and night! Her tumbling and playful hops and jumps have brought back laughter and happiness only a dog can bring.

Our home is now complete once again with our little musical Timbre. “ - Adopter Roy

“Fate made us come across Luna(Truffle) and when we met her we immediately knew she'd brighten up our lives with her spark. Since her first day with us she has been a ball of energy blessing us with countless wonderful moments. As we watch her grow, we are looking forward to creating many more fantastics memories with her.” - Adopter - Shereen & Sunny

13 JANUARY 2021

Theo (renamed Bing) has been adopted by Alexandra and her family. Bing is the last puppy to leave Mummy Sophie (https://purelyadoptions.com/.../2020-mummy-sophie-puppies/) and he is definitely the most fortunate one. He has a big garden to run around and fur brothers to play with. Despite being the youngest and smallest in his new family, Baby Bing is already making himself at home on the first day of trial homestay, happily running around and amusing his new family. We know his new family love him and we are very happy for him.

13 March 2021

Mummy Sophie has been adopted!

Thank you Jacqueline and Dominic for giving her a forever home 😄

“I’ve always believed in the phrase “adopt not shop” as there are so many dogs and cats out there that deserve a home. Sophie and her puppies were trapped from a site to be cleared for development. Their homes lost to urbanisation.

Thank you, Estella, Irene and the team behind PurelyAdoptions. Thanks to your dedication and hard work, we are able to adopt these beautiful animals and invite them to share our home. We will continue to treat Sophie like a beauty queen but try our best to expand that slim waistline of hers. 🤭” Josie (formerly known as Sophie) Adopters-Jacqueline & Dominic
