We bailed Clever Boy from AVS yesterday after he was trapped by dog catcher at the construction site. Stray Feeders Shirlin, Francis and Mei Mei have been feeding there for many years until the land was allocated for redevelopment and dog catcher was engaged to trap all the dogs there. Clever Boy has always been a friendly dog at the site and we know he will make a wonderful pet.
It’s not often we see a smiling dog when we bail dogs from AVS. Clever Boy is the special one. He was smiling when he saw our transporter and we could not help smiling too. He is indeed a Clever Boy! After bailing him out, we sent him to the Vet for checkup. Say to say, Clever Boy is tested positive for Heartworm. Without any delay, we started him on Heartworm treatment. He also has multiple missing incisors, a completely broken lower left canine tooth with exposed pulp cavity. He will need dental treatment in future. We will deal with his Heartworm issue first. Clever Boy is now safe at our commercial boarding.

Clever boy is currently staying at a construction site and where all dogs have to be cleared.
Clever boy is friendly to human and we hope to give him a chance to find home.
As we are full now and expenses running high, we are unable to take in clever boy unless we have fosterer.
This is urgent appeal as a dog trapper is stationed at the construction site to catch all the dogs.

Glad to receive another good news on this Mother’s Day. Grace & Ewan has decided to proceed with Clever Boy’s adoption after the trial homestay. Clever boy has been living at construction site for this whole life until he was trapped by dog catcher and we bailed him out from AVS. A very happy and clever boy (that’s where he got his name). We definitely looking forward to do his handover and seeing him soon
Update On Cleverboy
We just received a surprise montage of Cleverboy for his handover post. The video shows the day Cleverboy was rescued to the day we did the handover. It’s a long process and all this will not be possible with the effort of stray feeders Francis, Shirlin, Mei Mei, Kennel Manager Wong Ling and last but not least Adopter Ewan & Grace. Thank you for this wonderful gift. We are truly touched.
“In August 2020, our beloved "not so mini" Schnauzer, Kiro, passed on due to cancer at 10years young. As the months passed, we started thinking about perhaps having another doggie companion. Grace had a conversation with her cousin, who introduced us to a contact and that led us to visit Wong Ling's kennel.
That's where we begin our journey to Clever. We wanted this to be a healing process for us and visiting the dogs every week, feeding them roast chicken, playing with them, brought us immense joy and satisfaction. We met Clever, this quiet, calm and unassuming gentle SS, in February at Wong Ling's.
To our surprise on our 2nd bonding session, Clever greeted us with his waggily tail and soft whine! This immediately melted our hearts!
