Adopt a Dog

Meet rescued dogs who are ready for their forever home in Singapore.

How Dog Adoption Works

A simple overview of what to expect. We aim for a calm and safe transition for each dog.

If you are new to dog ownership, please read the Adoption Guide first.

01

Browse

Look through the dogs below. Shortlist the ones that fit your home and lifestyle.

03

Zoom Screening

Your household joins a Zoom call with us. We also ask for a short home safety video.

05

Make It Official

We sign the Adoption Agreement and collect the fee. Your dog is officially home.

02

Apply

Fill in our application form, or message us on WhatsApp about a specific dog.

04

Meet & Homestay

Meet the dog in person. If it's a good fit, the dog stays with you for a one-week trial.

Adoption Requirements

Our criteria help make sure every dog goes to a home that is ready for them.

🎂 Age Requirement

Adopters must be at least 21 years old. You will need a valid NRIC for verification at handover.

⏰ Time Commitment

Dogs need daily exercise, company, and attention. Full-time workers can still apply. We will match you with a dog that suits your schedule. Pet sitters or dog daycare can also help.

🏠 Stable Housing

You should own your home or have written consent from your landlord allowing pets. HDB residents are welcome. See our HDB section below.

👨‍👩‍👧 Household Agreement

Everyone in the household, including helpers and tenants, must know about and agree to the adoption. This is why all household members must join the Zoom screening.

💰 Financial Stability

You must be ready to cover food, routine and emergency vet care, grooming, training, and other costs for the dog's whole life.

HDB Residents

Adoption is possible if the dog is on the HDB-approved breed list. Many of our Singapore Specials qualify. Check the list on the HDB website, or ask us during the Zoom screening.

Project Adore

Project Adore allows certain mixed-breed dogs, including many Singapore Specials, to be kept in HDB flats. Dogs must be 55cm or shorter. Owners must complete a required training course (costs vary by trainer). We will guide you through eligibility during screening.
